“Infectious Disease: The Influence of Clinical Nutrition on Outcome”

Clinical nutritionists are not strangers to the ever growing limitations and detriments of the conventional, anti-microbial treatments for acute and chronic infections. We know that by studying the mechanisms of action of various herbs, nutrients, and homeopathy, as well as the intricacies of the immune system, outcomes can improve with the use of clinical nutrition and that the clinical nutritionist can help those with infections heal themselves. These interventions can be employed alongside or in lieu of conventional medicinal protocols. We are also aware that it is the mind-body psychoneuroimmunoendocrinologic connection that must overcome infection, not the non-existent, magic allopathic bullet.

In our first symposium to focus on infectious disease, our speakers will elucidate for us methods of identification, administration of therapies, and remediation.
