The Fomentek Bag is one of the most useful, general purpose health care products you will ever use. It is designed to apply comfortable, soothing thermal therapy easily and conveniently to any part of the body. Moreover, the Fomentek Bag alleviates the symptoms of variety of ailments and is effective (depending on the treatment) in warm or cold water.

Warm Use:

1.  Turn on tap water to desired temperature ( 110° - 113° F).
Caution: Water should never be used warmer than is comfortable to touch.
Hot water can cause burns.

2.  Remove snap cap from opening by firmly grasping edge of cap and pulling away from bag.

3.  Place end of faucet into opening and fill about 1/3 full.

4.  Place bag on counter top and remove air by loosely placing cap on Fomentek bag
opening and gently lifting the spout while pressing on the center end of the bag.
Lifting the spout causes the air inside the bag to move towards opening.
When all the air has been removed from bag, firmly clasp the cap closed with fingers.

5.  Raise bag up by corners to check for water quality and air bubbles.
If considerable air is present repeat Step 4.

6.  Dry bag with towel and carry to the point of use.

7.  Warm bags can be used directly against skin. Hot bags should be wrapped in cloth or a towel.

8.  To empty, remove the snap cap over the sink or bath tub and drain.
Replace the cap on the opening, towel dry, fold, and store.

4.   Raise bag up by corners to check for water quality and air bubbles.
If considerable air is present repeat Step 3.

5.  Dry bag with towel and check for leaks.

6.  Place filled bag into refrigerator until desired temperature is reached. DO NOT FREEZE.

7.  Use chilled water bag directly against the skin.

8.  Cold water bag may be stored in refrigerator for later use.
To prevent punctures, do not slide bad on refrigerator shelves.

9.  To empty, remove the snap cap over the sink or bath tub and drain.  Replace the cap on the opening, towel dry, fold, and store.
